Suzuki continues its support for the "Granfondo" events, the amateur cycling races which are becoming widespread in Turkey as well as all over the world. Suzuki Turkey, which was the sponsor of the Boostcamp, and Queens of the Aegean cycling events held in Marmaris in 2022, has now become one of the main sponsors of the Turkcell Granfondo Istanbul amateur cycling race to be held in Beykoz, Istanbul. Suzuki, which will support the athletes with six different vehicles at the Turkcell Granfondo Istanbul event to be held on Sunday, 12 June 2022, will present a music feast to the participants and spectators with the partnership of Turkcell Fizy in the "Fan Zone", which will be established within the competition with a specially designed Jimny vehicle. Chief Marketing Officer of Doğan Trend Automobile Şirin Mumcu Yurtseven, Mayor of Beykoz Murat Aydın, Corporate Communications and Sustainability Director of Turkcell İsmail Özbayraktar, and CEO of Bisan Ali Orçun Bal attended the introductory meeting held in Beykoz where Granfondo event will also be held.

Suzuki, represented by Doğan Trend Automotive, continues to support cycling. The Japanese manufacturer is sponsoring the Turkcell Granfondo event in Istanbul following the Boostcamp and Queens of the Aegean cycling events. Suzuki Turkey, one of the main sponsors of the Turkcell Granfondo Istanbul event to be held on Sunday, 12 June 2022, contributes to the visual feast with a total of six vehicles including one leading referee vehicle, one sweeper vehicle, and support vehicles.

82 Kilometers of Suzuki Track

At the Granfondo event hosted by İstanbul Beykoz, cyclists will pedal on a short 40-kilometer track as well as an 82-kilometer Suzuki track. Approximately 2,000 cyclists are expected to join Turkcell Granfondo İstanbul, which will take start in front of Beykoz Municipality. With the income from the race, funds will be created for children who are victims of war all over the world.

Music Pleasure with Suzuki Jimny

Suzuki, which continues to support cycling, will also offer the highest level of racing pleasure for the audience. With the special DJ cabinet to be installed at the back of the specially designed Suzuki Jimny model in collaboration with Turkcell Fizy, a music feast will be given to both cyclers and spectators of the challenging race in the "Fan Zone".

Champion Team of Suzuki Women to Compete

Suzuki Women's Cycling Team, which won first place in its class in the 24-Hour Boostrace organization held at Intercity Istanbul Park Formula 1 Track on 17-18 September last year, will also appear in Turkcell Granfondo Istanbul.
